Adobe now officially endorses iPad competition

Well played, Adobe! Since you can’t get an ‘in’ with Steve anymore, why not use your own show floor to promote the products of the competition?!

The software giant did exactly that during the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco, displaying Google’s Android-based tablet pc and  Nexus One phone, as well as Droid and the Palm Pre. Guess what: the iPad was nowhere to be found!

Maybe that’s a good thing, since it allowed Adobe to show Flash’s full potential as a platform for a true, rich experience on touch-screen devices. Apparently, the Flash-playback was as smooth as it gets and judging by the video below, there is now even more reason to hold off on the iPad purchase.
